"As a seasoned Water Ski Organiser and Competitior I went to the 2009 Wigan Pro-Am to watch the top class field compete and have a look at the rapidly developing 3 Sisters site.
I was lucky enough to get a seat in one of the go karts and was amazed to enjoy competing with other skiers and the pro's with a different sport. Still got beat by the Water Ski Pro's though.
Despite being cursed by the weather the event ran smoothly and even the scores remained top class, a true reveal of the quality of this site. You can certainly see that the owner knew how to dig holes.
The North West side of the country has been poorly served with top class venues and I am sure I will be coming to Wigan more often hopefully as a competitior next year to really experience the Pro Am format. "
